Born September 27, 1986 in Knoxville, Tennessee, Jonathan Hodge already has a successful golf career behind him. He is the son of Greg and Wendy Hodge, and his mother played collegiate golf at University of Tennessee Chattanooga. So it’s safe to say that Hodge was basically raised on the game. With his pedigree and determination, Hodge made a name for himself both in high school and during his collegiate golf career. His dad and grandfather are both Class A members of the PGA. With a background like that, it comes as no surprised that Jonathan Hodge is poised to take the professional golf world by storm.

As a student at the University of Tennessee Chattanooga, Hodge qualified for the 2006 and 2007 US Amateur, finishing in the top 16 in 2006. He finished second at the 2008 Dogwood Invitational and 2006 True Temper Classic. He was a two-time Southern Conference Player of the Year, and ranked in the top 20 in the world in the R&A Amateur Golf Rankings in the summer of 2008. He holds school records for scoring average in a season, season wins, par/better rounds per season, and career. He also tied the school record for wins.

Jonathan majored in physical education in college. He married his wife Brooke, who he met in college, in 2011. He enjoys spending time with his family, and has a brother, Chris, and a sister, Sarah.
